Maximalist Interiors at Home: A-List Designers on How To Nail Old Hollywood Glamour.“This era was all about exuberance, bold patterns and luxurious materials,” says French-Italian interior designer Tancred Vilucchi, who is based in both Los Angeles and Paris. While working on the California home of a philanthropist and a Persian artist, he honoured Hollywood's Golden Age by crafting an interior scheme where surrealist touches and retro design icons coexist in perfect harmony. He also reflected the wife’s love for colours that he sees as “a call for positive energy.” Enveloped by a customised green paint by Farrow & Ball and topped with an oversized chandelier, the opulent living room visually connects to the outdoors. Meanwhile, an array of metallic accents complement the palette.
